In the previous sections we have outlined in detail both the design and physics goals of the proposed CLEO III detector. A separate document summarizes this proposal and provides the detailed budgets, schedules, and construction time lines. Although this document has contributions from a large number of physicists in the CLEO collaboration, the formulation, direction, and overall coordination was carried out by the Inner Detector Task Force of C. Bebek, H. Kagan (Chairperson), R. Kass, H. Nelson, E. Nordberg, M. Ogg, D. Peterson, D. Rice, S. Stone, and M. Witherell.
